Work description

The Channel Marketing Lead will be responsible for marketing business planning with B2b customers: yearly, quarterly channel and monthly activation planning with customer and sales. Responsible for understanding the business strategy for the given customers as well as key consumer and shopper strategies. Together with sales set the omni-channel strategy and Secure best presence and mix of activations for given product groups and customers. Ownerships of company branded presence online and in-store. Planning and executions of fixed installations, as well as secure share of voice for branded retail, as well as ROI. The Channel Marketing Lead will be responsible for channel marketing and sales driven activations as well as for bringing concepts to the major sales channels. This includes responsibility for ensuring sell-through activations in the channles/stores where company products are represented and sold. The CML works closely with the respective Sales Managers and Key Account Managers and provide the sales departments with creative input from a marketing perspective, enabling sell-out maximaton of the current range/product focus. Co-hosted events are other areas where the CML will be responsible for planning and execution. An Example of this can be joint guerrilla marketing activities together with a major customer or other partner. The CML reports on the status of the campaigns and gives feedback for improvement to local sales departments as well as to Channel Marketing Head. Securing availability for sell-in material and concepts to the major sales channels in cooperation with Nordic Marketing and local sales teams to ensure early customer engagement and buy-in in order to maximize sales results and smooth roll-out of campaigns.

Personal Skills

- University degree, preferably with a major in Marketing
- Project Management excellence
- Analytical skills – including for turning digital marketing statistics into simple, effective and actionable guidance
- Experience from managing the digital consumer experience
- MS Office, mainly Excel, PPT
- Independent and self-managing, identifying and proposing solutions to challenges/opportunities
- Experience from leading Service, FMCG or Consumer Electronics/Telecom company is a merit
- Experience from a Nordic matrix organization is a merit
- Results & performance driven
- Structured with an ability to manage multiple priorities and short deadlines
- Creativity in problem-solving and marketing
- Take own initiatives and drive implementation
- Strong collaboration skills and inter-culturally savvy
- A doer with a can-do attitude and flexibility
