Power Solutions handles R&D and maintenance of power solutions across most of Ericsson’s product portfolio. As part of Ericsson’s global design organization, we develop products for today’s and future mobile networks. We have five sections in Lindholmen and, since five years, a Power Design section in Kista.

We use advanced design and simulation tools to create top products, staying current on technology and design techniques to maintain best-in-class work. Our competence center fosters teamwork and learning with experienced, dedicated people — our employees are key to success.

We’re seeking an experienced Test System Architect to work closely with the Power Solution teams in Lindholmen and Kista, mainly alongside the Radio, Broadband, and Transport teams.

You’ll engage with design teams inside and outside Ericsson, including system design, product groups using power solutions, and product/node-level verification. You’ll help define the architecture for automated testing to speed integration and improve traceability and quality.

 

What will you do 

•    Work with Power Design teams, shape testing strategies, document systems, communicate with stakeholders, oversee new functions, troubleshoot, and ensure quality and performance of the standard power solution framework.

•    Enhance smooth collaboration across projects, partners, and teams; support leaders and engineers in testing and verification.

•    Stay up to date on automated testing practices and frameworks.

•    Participate in manual verification, identify best practices, and highlight customer value.

•    Contribute to integrating, verifying, and troubleshooting power solutions in products and systems.

•    Monitor and secure traceability in automated tests to address functional and hardware quality.

 

Skills you Bring

•    Excellent communication, collaboration, and results orientation

•    Strong automated testing experience

•    5+ years’ LabVIEW programming

•    Experience with test frameworks and product verification

•    Skills in requirements breakdown and automation

•    Mentoring, coaching, and distributed team experience

•    Knowledge of Python or C++ (a plus)

•    Understanding of communication systems and hardware design

•    MSc in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computational Engineering, or equivalent

•    Product requirement breakdown and technical analysis experience

•    Knowledge of Ericsson Radio System products/portfolio (a plus)

•    Strategic thinking and an improvement mindset.
