About the Opportunity 

We are looking for a System Architect—quality (ASIC) to define and drive quality strategies across the ASIC development and deployment lifecycle. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that both product and vendor components meet rigorous quality standards, starting from the predevelopment and quotation stages. You will work hands-on with cross-functional teams and suppliers to establish clear quality assertions and compliance checkpoints that support first-time-right silicon. 

Your responsibilities will span the validation of functional test strategies between Ericsson's Product Test Design (PTD) teams and vendors, with active involvement in board bring-up and system integration phases. Ensuring long-term product health, you’ll contribute to key market stability forums and help drive feedback from the field into actionable design and quality improvements. This role is ideal for silicon architects who combine a deep technical foundation with a passion for building robust, production-ready solutions. 

 

What You will do  

•    Participate in product feature development and troubleshooting 

•    Analyze and elaborate possible measures for antifragility, tolerance, resilience and robustness 

•    Suggest and explore pre-development ideas of functions and mechanisms for observability, functional test, fault localization and diagnosis 

•    Collaborate and coordinate with production and development test SW design teams 

•    Monitor vendor quality, TR (trouble report) and CCB (change control board) meetings 

•    Monitor vendor yield and FRAG/RRAG (failure/return rate analysis group) issues and activities 

•    Keep attention on key market plans for product deployment and upgrades 

•    Monitor new and existing products that can contribute to assert quality 

•    Regular presentations of trends, activities and achievements at design departments 

 

Skills you Bring 

•    Knowledge or experience in EMCA ASICs preferred 

•    Systemizing and implementation of functionality in digital ASIC and FPGA products 

•    ASIC and FPGA design and verification methods and languages 

•    Back-end implementation and board bring-up 

•    DFT implementation and processes, ASIC and FPGA technologies 

•    In-field crash dump analysis and troubleshooting 

•    Data analysis and visualization 

•    System continuous integration and verification, robustness and reliability 

•    Leading and coordinating XFT task force analyses 

•    TR handling in MHWeb, Jira
