About this opportunity:

 

Ericsson’s Real Estate Build Project Management and TBR unit manages the specification and implementation of project management guidelines and technical building requirement standards for Ericsson's global workplaces, including offices, technical spaces, manufacturing plants, and warehouses. We are now looking for ‘Real Estate Building Technology Lead’ to join and strengthen our team. The team is part of our Global Portfolio and Project Management unit, responsible for the management and development of Ericsson’s global real estate footprint. As part of this global role, you will be responsible for the Technical Building Requirements (TBR) at Ericsson Real Estate organization. You will evolve and lead the work together with global consultants within Building Physics, Indoor Environmental Quality, Sustainability / Energy Efficiency, Technical Building Systems (HVAC / MEP). As the leading expert in Ericsson, you will also take part in the major build projects as well as setting policy and instructions for the company through the TBR documents. 

 

What you will do:

 

  • Own, develop, and manage Ericsson’s TBR documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate TBR requirements with other Ericsson units, including Global Workplace Operations, Security, IT, OHS, Sustainability, Insurance, Lab Operations, Supply, and Production.
  • Oversee and support Ericsson’s Global Preferred Technology consultants and other external consultants in various projects.
  • Manage external technology consultants regarding TBR topics.
  • Assist Ericsson Real Estate team members and external consultants and contractors on TBR-related matters and real estate projects.
  • Support the Ericsson Sourcing unit in procuring technical consultants and services.

 

The skills you bring:

 

  • Education: M.Sc. in Engineering, specializing in Building Physics, Technical Building Systems (HVAC, MEP), or related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Expertise in Building Physics, Indoor Environmental Quality, Sustainability/Energy Efficiency, and Technical Building Systems (HVAC and MEP).
  • Secondary experience in Critical Environments (Data Centers, Telecom Test Centers, etc.).
  • International experience in construction projects, especially from a corporate user, real estate company, or consultancy background.
