About this opportunity:

 

Radio and Transport Engineering unit is one of the Engineering Units in Business Area Networks, responsible for the end-to-end development for our Hardware and Hardware near SW products. The Configuration Management (CM) unit at RAN HW Systematization and Cross-Portfolio organization is responsible for Configuration Management of hardware and hardware-near software for RAN Compute products, Site materials, Packaging materials and ASIC/FPGA, and for Release Management, as well as Requirement Handling for the overall Ericsson Radio System level (ERS). We are now seeking for experienced Configuration Manager to join our team.

 

What you will do:

 

As a Configuration Manager you are involved in the Product Business transformation flow, from requirement definition to release of new products. You are part of a project team and work closely with project managers, system managers, designers, sourcing, and supply. In the project assignments you work with operative tasks, taking lead for the product handling, securing compliance to our legal requirements and Product Lifecycle Management rules and guidance; as well as working strategic with guidelines and helping to define the process requirements, being able to set up processes. Your contribution to the project team is to see the whole picture, be structured and secure quality and traceability

 

The skills you bring:

 

As a Configuration Manager you shall be structured and innovative in your way of working. You must be self-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge and be a service-minded person who enjoys networking. 

 

Besides having a strong domain knowledge and at least 10 years of experience in Configuration Management, the following qualifications and skills will be required and/or beneficial.

 

•    Very good Product Lifecycle Management knowledge

•    Long experience from working as Configuration Manager, with product structuring for hardware products and hardware-near software.

•    Experience of Ericsson´s product handling, document handling, release handling and good knowledge of PLM/PDM systems, e.g., PRIM and 3DX.

•    Product development knowledge, Ericsson’s Hardware Development Process (HWDP) knowledge. 

•    Proven track record of process improvements. 

•    Ability to work across organizational boundaries.

•    Good presentation skills. 

•    Good communication skills to coach and guide stakeholders to ensure that processes, policies, and guidelines are being followed.

•    Strong personal drive, courageous, and eager to contribute where and when possible, both inside and outside your formal framework of responsibilities, with can-do attitude.
