Your opportunity:
We’re looking for an innovative, results-driven Solutions Architect to join our dynamic Group Data and Analytics team. You’ll be the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, designing robust, scalable, and efficient data architectures to drive impactful insights across the organization. If you have the expertise in data engineering, cloud platforms, and a knack for translating complex data problems into clear solutions, we want to hear from you!
Who you will work with:
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mines, smelters, IT, and customer service departments, to understand data requirements and deliver technical solutions that drive business outcomes. You will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers and other stakeholders.
What you will do:
- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data solutions that align with business goals.
- Architect and optimize data solutions, ensuring they are scalable, high-performing, and future-proof.
- Ensure data security, privacy, and governance standards are adhered to across all solutions.
- Stay on top of emerging data technologies and best practices to continuously enhance the team’s capabilities.
- Define technical roadmaps, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of data solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you bring:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Solutions Architect, Data Architect, or similar role.
- Expertise in data platforms and data engineering best practices.
- Strong experience with architecting solutions for cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and advanced analytics architectures is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
