Commercial Director to ALD Automotive

ALD is now looking for a Commercial Director who will have an important role and impact on the exciting journey to become a fully integrated sustainable mobility provider and the global leader in the industry.



The role

The Commercial Director will develop, implement and adapt the commercial strategy to meet new and existing customer demands, and deliver sustainable, profitable fleet growth. Furthermore, the role should pro-actively search for new market trends, market changes and translate those into new and adapted products and services. You will work closely together with peers in other countries to serve our international customers and adapt our product offering to ALD´s global strategy.


The main responsibilities of the role include

• Sales, Marketing and Communication

• Development and implementation of the commercial strategy including the marketing and communication strategy

• Lead the team, drive team development and strive for each individual to reach their full potential

• Development of new and existing sales channels

• Go to market strategy for new and existing products and services

• Product development to become a fully integrated sustainable mobility provider

• Market analysis and benchmarks to develop and adapt commercial strategy and actions to capture commercial opportunities

• Improvement of customer satisfaction based on customer feedback and market developments

• Co-development and execution of ALD Sweden´s strategy and business plan, operational and strategic goals


Professional qualifications and personal characteristics for the role

• Proven experience as commercial director or similar roles including commercial and marketing development, preferable B2B and B2C

• Preferably knowledge of and/or experience from the leasing business

• Creative in balancing strategic, tactical, and operational goals

• In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies, methods, and analysis, with an emphasis on digital marketing

• Negotiation skills

• In-depth knowledge of marketing functions

• Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial / budgeting processes

• A minimum of five years leadership experience including leading through others

• A minimum of ten years´ experience in Sales

• Fluent in Swedish and English both written and spoken

• Master´s degree from business school
