We are looking for a Digital Hardware Developer to join our Radio Hardware Development Team in Lund. In this role, you will work closely with talented teams both locally and globally, contributing to the design and development of next-generation radio hardware. What you will do 

 

•    Work with radio digital design from architecture through to volume production.

•    Design (specifications, schematic, and reviews etc.), test, introduce into the factory and support hardware.

•    The work include design from optical interfaces to analog, PDN network, and high-speed communications among others. Simulation experience with 2D and 3D simulators is beneficial. 

•    Investigate and resolve engineering problems.

•    Encourage continuous improvements of design, processes, and product quality.

•    Prepare lab environment including both equipment and software components, experience in Python is a plus.

•    Implement test and validation methods for efficient design test coverage.

•    Produce documentation as per radio development processes.

•    Solving problems, including support on debugging field return units.

 

Skills you bring 

 

•    B.Sc. or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with a Master’s degree preferred, bringing a strong foundation in hardware development.

•    Experience in digital hardware design, implementation, and verification, ensuring high-performance and reliable solutions.

•    Proficiency in Standard tools used to perform schematic capture and layout (e.g. Cadence)

•    Expertise in board-level power and grounding strategies, particularly for multilayer mixed digital/analog/RF designs, optimizing performance and integrity.

•    Hands-on experience with high-speed serial interfaces, applying best practices in signal integrity and design optimization.

•    A good understanding of digital board design, contributing to robust and scalable hardware solutions.

•    Familiarity with SI simulations, EMC constraints, and timing analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

•    Previous exposure to radio transceiver digital design and testing, bringing valuable insights into RF hardware integration.

•    Experience in designing products for volume production, balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability.

•    Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, diverse team environment.
