District Manager for Housing Stockholm North

The Housing regions in Stockholm want to continue to grow, and so we need to take the next steps to fulfil this growth phase. We will therefore be starting 2 new districts in Stockholm, one district in Housing Stockholm North and one district in Housing Stockholm South.

We are thus looking for a District Manager for Housing Stockholm North.

Together we can create new opportunities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference and play a part in strengthening our competitiveness and developing the excellence of our employees. As a District Manager, you will be part of the region’s management team and an important element in the region achieving its goals. Stockholm North is principally responsible for new builds and renovation of commercial properties, offices, schools, hotels, community and cultural properties. At the same time, a lot of construction is undertaken in cooperation with Housing Stockholm South and other Skanska units in Stockholm. We also work on developing projects together with our project development section at Skanska Sweden and Skanska Properties. Together, we will continue to focus on and develop our market presence and increase our market share, with increased competitiveness thanks to continued specialisation.

As the District Manager, you, together with your management team, will lead your district towards agreed goals based on the business plan and our values, management philosophy and strong social commitment. You will be responsible for the district’s sales and tender work and for creating various business models. You and your employees will work closely with our customers and partners both within and outside Skanska. An important part of your work as a manager will be the ability to enthuse and engage your employees. You will see the potential of your employees and encourage them to grow and develop. Your human resources responsibilities will involve attracting, recruiting and developing employees.

Creating sustainable business and encouraging employees to grow
We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, organised and has the ability to see individuals. We also expect you to be a skilled communicator and a natural leader. Leadership is something that motivates you! In other words, you are a role model for your employees and your management style creates motivation and huge commitment. You will also have a keen interest in developing our operations and generating business. You will have the ability to create good profitability in your operations.
