Who you will work with:
You’ll collaborate with diverse and talented teams including project stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional departments. Your leadership will ensure that everyone stays aligned, focused, and inspired to achieve project success. Together, you’ll tackle challenges, find solutions, and deliver results.
What you will do:
- Project Planning: Lead the creation of comprehensive project plans. Ensure that project scope, requirements, and schedules are clear, documented, and approved. Coordinate all preparation activities, including resource planning, architecture design, and stakeholder analysis.
- Project Execution: Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring they meet targets and deadlines. Coordinate deliverables and manage risks and issues as they arise. Lead vendor management efforts and manage project resources.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Serve as the main interface between the project team and key stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and keeping everyone informed.
- Coaching & Best Practices: Provide guidance on project management best practices and contribute to the development of tools and processes to continually improve our project management practices.
- Successful Transitions: Ensure smooth transitions to production and oversee handover to stakeholders.
What you bring (competence):
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a similar field. Advanced certifications like PMP, PfMP, or Prince2 are a plus.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Skills:
- Business case development
- Financial control and follow-up
- Contract management
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Expertise in organizational change management
- Demonstrate behaviors in line with Boliden's core values: Care, Responsibility, Courage
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence in leading and presenting to teams and stakeholders
- Ability to inspire and lead teams towards success
