The position is responsible for the delivery of IT Services in Application Management. You will be entrusted with leading a team of around ten IT specialists whose primary task is the management of central systems at Boliden, for example in finance and HR. You are currently a leader in the section and supervise employees based on the company’s shared values of care, courage and responsibility. You ensure the team’s skills supply and its work on health, the environment and safety.


You form part of the IT Services management team, where you participate in the constant improvement of IT solutions delivered in the Group. You maintain good contact with the operation to make sure we deliver services based on the operation’s needs and wishes. We always have a lot going on and are constantly modernizing the IT landscape.


Because the company has operations in several locations, the position involves travel. The position will be located in Boliden.


Are you who we are looking for?

You have an academic degree in the relevant field, and you are an experienced leader. Experience in leadership and/or project management in industrial and international contexts is regarded as a merit. You are used to negotiating and running development work. Because some of Boliden’s IT services are outsourced, experience of working with subcontractors at the tactical and strategic levels would be useful.

The position requires a good command of written and spoken English. A knowledge of Swedish and/or Finnish is also a merit. You have a category B driver’s license.
