Develop your user experience skills together with Thule

Insights on users experience is a very good start for product development. We at Thule always have a clear user focus when we develop products. Thule always conduct user studies to develop and design products that are relevant to the user.

What do Thule want?
Thule wants to understand what are the user values. This often comes as insights when studying and talking with users. It is not uncommon for these insights to be summarized in a short story or in a one liner. In this case, we want to gather as many relevant insights as possible about the urban users of strollers.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for students in grade 4 or 5 that wants to develop their design thinking skills and learn more about performing user research. Furthermore, we want you to work in groups of 2-5 people. You can apply individually or as a group. If you apply individually, we will put together groups. We aim at having 3 groups.
What’s in it for you?
Thule will pay you for the job and in addition to that, you will have relevant experience in studying users. You will get insight into how Thule works with design and product development and visit us at Thule. We believe that this would be valuable knowledge before doing your master thesis. You will also be able to use us as a reference after your assignment.

What we expect
We expect you to spend about 5 hours a week for about 12 weeks with start mid-December. We start with a brief and some education and then run this assignment in some sprints. These sprints will include the development of personas, interviews, making user journeys and observational studies. We will all meet for feedback and status on progress after every sprint. At the end of the assignment, you will hold a presentation on Thule and submit your insights as a presentation.

Send in a personal letter (not more than 500 words) on who you are and why you want to participate. If you apply as a group you only need to make one application.
