Head of Process & Quality

Development & Operations Services is a Group function in NCC with resources in four countries under joint management. Our objective is to deliver value to all of NCC, optimizing the benefits delivered to the business, as well as being innovative and progressive in our digital transformation. Main objectives are also to ensure that NCC’s business areas and Group Functions will deliver expected value to our end customers. As our current holder of this position is taking on a new challenge within NCC, Strategy & Development is now looking for our new Head of Process & Quality.

As Head of Process & Quality you will lead a team of six highly skilled members. The overall purpose of this department is to ensure a common efficient approach for management system, quality management and operation audits within NCC and to enable and challenge NCC to reach operational excellence by continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities: 

The key responsibilities can be divided into three areas:

  1. Group Management System
  • Quality manager for NCC Group.
  • Develop and manage the NCC Group Management system.
  • Provide and manage corporate structures for Management systems (MS).
  • Provide expertise and training in developing and managing a Management System to all NCC units.
  • Coordinate NCC forums for Management System.
  1. Operational Audits
  • Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing reports (i.e. related to quality objectives, process KPIs, audits or performance evaluations).
  • Own the NCC framework for Operational Audits and provide methodology support & training.
  • Perform Operational Audits and feedback observations to Senior Management and to audited functions also suggesting improvement actions.
  1. Quality and Operations improvement
  • Head the Group Quality Function
  • Provide NCC with expertise, tools, methods and training to enable continuous improvement to operational excellence.
  • Identify, manage and participate in prioritized development projects according to NCC development process.

In addition, you are expected to support with pre-studies for operational improvements and / or strategic issues.

What we expect from you:

  • You have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Construction, Engineering or Business or equivalent.
  • Overall quality and strategic competence to keep a holistic view
  • Structured and with proactive drive to ensure “things happen”
  • Ability to build trust and strong networks with senior management and Business Areas
  • Ability to support operational excellence through the responsibilities
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate highly skilled staff
  • Excellent presentation skills, and work fluently in English as well as in your own native Nordic language

The role is part of the DOS/Strategy & Operational Development and is placed at our Solna office. The role will require travelling.
