MotulTech is most famous in the metalworking industry, with longstanding market leadership. MotulTech has organized exports to the Nordic region and to another 25 countries from the export office in Cologne, Germany.


MotulTech manufactures and market industrial lubricant with the latest technology, that have been tested in the most extreme circumstances that the engine producers and industrial partners demands. Motul is an international actor in the lubricant sector and has specialized in two main areas that completes each other but claims special know how’s; the vehicle and the industrial industry. Motul develops, manufactures and markets industrial high technology lubricant for the machining and transformation of metals, as well as the high-performance lubrication of industrial and OEM. We’re looking for you who wants to implement and develop MotulTechs business in Scandinavia.

As a representative of MotulTech the Business Development Manager is responsible for the development and management of the sales structure in the region according to the instructions of Motul Germany. The person develops new market segments and business activities and boosts the strategically market development. The Business Development Manager is the contact partner for the authorized MotulTech distributors and reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager in Germany.

As the Business Development Manager, your main tasks will include:

  • Develop the Scandinavian market with 20 % a year

  • Identify new strategic partners for business development

  • Develop and establish a sales network in the region

  • Evaluate and develop the work with the distributors and find new ones

  • Build up a strong network within the sector

To succeed in the role as Business Development Manager at MotulTech you need to be a driven person who sees opportunities and has a strong thrust to develop and generate results. As a Business Development Manager it’s also important the you have good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.

We believe you’ve got experience of developing new products and solutions in new markets. Formerly you’ve probably worked within business development and sales. You’ve also got experience from industrial business in automotive, Heavy Duty, machinery production, ideally metal processing or lubricants. You’re a successful and habituated negotiator in high value contracts. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are used to work in international teams.

For the right candidate this is an excellent opportunity to put your mark on MotulTech strategy and market positioning. Your location is primary in Stockholm or maybe Malmö but you’re prepared to travel within Scandinavia. Your fluent in Swedish and English, in both writing and speaking.
